David Fleming

About the Author

David Fleming is the author of four books and a Meadowlark Media correspondent. During the last three decades at Sports Illustrated, ESPN, and Meadowlark, Fleming has been one of the industry’s most prolific, versatile, and imaginative longform storytellers. He is the author of Breaker Boys, Noah’s Rainbow, and, coming in the fall of 2025, A Big Mess in Texas: The Miraculous, Disastrous 1952 Dallas Texans and the Craziest Untold Story in NFL History. A native of Detroit, Fleming and his wife, Kim, live in North Carolina with their daughters.
