Gail Gibbons has written more than 120 books for children, including Tell Me, Tree: All About Trees for Kids; Recycle! A Handbook for Kids; and Knights in Shining Armor. She was called a “master of picture book nonfiction” by Booklist. Gail’s informational books cover a vast range of topics, have received innumerable awards and honors, and have appeared on many lists, including the American Library Association’s for Notable Children’s Books and the National Science Teaching Association–Children’s Book Council’s for Outstanding Science Trade Books.
