About the Author

Jacob Suissa, Ph.D., is co-founder and director with Ben Goulet-Scott of Let’s Botanize, an educational non-profit that teaches about ecology, evolution, and biodiversity through accessible and entertaining plant biology content. Suissa earned his Ph.D. in Evolutionary Biology at Harvard University and is currently an Assistant Professor of plant evolutionary biology at The University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
