The book was also a 2009 Book Start choice, distributed free to 100,000 children across the UK. Her book Whose Tracks in the Snow? was shortlisted for the Information Books 3–14+ category of the UK Literary Association Awards 2024. Her third title Who Lives Here? has been longlisted for the 2026 award.
