He is nationally recognized for his efforts to expand access, equity, and representation in hunting and angling communities—uplifting the stories of new hunter-angler-conservationists and advocating for a future where everyone feels at home on the land. He serves as the New York Ambassador for Hunters of Color, Vice President of NYC Trout Unlimited, and a board member for New York Backcountry Hunters & Anglers. His outdoor writing has appeared in Sierra Magazine, Harvesting Nature, Outdoor Life, and other publications focused on equity, ecology, and tradition in the field.
