Janet Tashjian is the author of Hannah Sharpe, Cartoon Detective, illustrated by her son, Jake Tashjian; ten books in the bestselling My Life series, as well as the chapter book series: Marty Frye, Private Eye; Einstein the Class Hamster; and Sticker Girl. She lives in Los Angeles.

Stephen Holman is an artist, animation director, and keen scuba diver. He has exhibited his artwork across the US, Europe, and Japan, and has created, directed and designed children’s animation series for Nickelodeon and Disney. He lives with his family in Los Angeles.
