Share love and expand creativity with the power of flowers

Native Poppy is a woman-owned flower shop that delivers flower arrangements, bouquets, and more all over sunny San Diego. Whether you’re celebrating a birthday, planning a wedding, or want to send support to a loved one during difficult times, what drives us is our motto and our mission: Sharing love through the power of flowers!

Natalie Gill grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area, determined from a young age to create a life filled with beauty and art.  While most high schoolers were throwing keggers, Natalie hosted dinner parties with homemade tomato sauce and pasta for fifty and hand-wrote each guest's name on their own ice cream bowl for personalized ice cream socials. A self-proclaimed nerd for beauty, she fully embraced her passion for creating joy, magic, and meaning through design. In 2014, she founded Native Poppy with the belief that flowers should feel wild, joyful, and a little bit magical. Natalie is passionate about design that tells a story, honors the uniqueness of each celebration, and brings people together. Outside her life in flowers, she still loves cooking for friends, traveling (especially to tropical snorkel spots) and scheming up her next big idea.

Meg Blancato’s floral journey began at 7 years old when she started selling flower subscriptions in her dad's office for a thrifty $1 per week. 20 years later, she found herself returning to flowers and has been hooked ever since. Learning the art of floral design was one of the greatest gifts she's ever been given; it led to an endless passion for flowers and the power they hold. She lives in San Diego, CA with her husband, two incredible kids and golden retriever. When she's not at Native Poppy, you can find her cooking with a glass of bubbles in hand, on a walk with her family, planning a celebration, or reading. Her favorite flower is a peach ranunculus - don't let her tell you differently.

Erin Dollar is a writer, educator, and artist who contributes her eye for design to Native Poppy’s flower shops as a gift buyer. She specializes in building community through storytelling, using her craft to connect with creatives across varied industries and artforms. Her creative work has been featured in the Los Angeles Times, HGTV Magazine, Apartment Therapy, San Diego Magazine, and CA Home + Design. Erin avidly tends her drought-tolerant flower garden in Oakland, California, where she lives with her husband Zac and their calico kitty Sally.
