All the Things We Buried

Thirty years ago, Iris Lennox fled her family farm, a place of both tenderness and rage, leaving behind her devout mother, beloved father, and younger brother, Benjamin. But when she learns of her father’s tragic death, she is forced to return home. While there, confronted with a series of mysterious coincidences, Iris becomes convinced his death was no accident.
 
With their mother safely confined to a nursing home, and Iris presumed to be out of the picture, it seems a foregone conclusion that Benjamin will inherit the priceless land. That is, until the family lawyer reveals that their father mysteriously altered his will the day before his death, leaving everything to Iris. More mysteriously still, the will is now missing. Could Iris’s own brother, once her close confidant, be capable of murder?
 
Meanwhile, Benjamin is living with a buried secret, discovered decades earlier in his childhood—one that has found its way back through the soil, promising to germinate in the present day and expose more than one member of the Lennox family for who they really are.
