ESPN and NFL Network’s Good Morning Football host and two-time Emmy winner Kyle Brandt shares the entertaining story of his life, peppered with no-nonsense lessons on finding, earning, and maintaining your dream career while living the full life you want.

“My résumé is weirder than yours.” —Kyle Brandt

If ever there was award for the most atypical path leading to an established career in the media, Kyle Brandt just might win it. A high school jock with a love for Quentin Tarantino and grunge music, Kyle somehow found his way to Princeton where he was a running back for the football team who moonlighted in the theater program. Then he tried out for The Real World, and as Kyle would tell you, if you remember him from Real World: Chicago, you probably don’t like him. But he parlayed that odd brand of notoriety into soap opera stardom with three years on Days of Our Lives. Then he got down to business.
What he really wanted to do is talk and write about sports and pop culture. His blog caught the attention of sports radio legend Jim Rome who hired Kyle as a producer. That eventually led Kyle to the NFL Network where he has hosted their morning show for the last ten years as one of the funniest, most energetic, pop-culture-savvy commentators in sports. And now he gets to do a little bit of everything, podcasting with Bill Simmons, hosting reality competition shows, and interviewing everyone from Josh Allen to Bono. Do You. tells that story, but all while lacing it with life lessons that will encourage readers to find their own twisted path to whatever ignites their passion.
For every sports fan and pop culture junkie looking to do something they love, this is new year, new you, and Kyle Brandt is their self-deprecating, movie-nerd, sports-loving, kind-hearted Gen X tour guide. His unconventional motivational book will win you over.
