The
Bruners are parents of three boys and a girl ages seven to seventeen.
Kurt is a graduate of Talbot Seminary who serves as Pastor of Spiritual Formation at Lake Pointe Church near Dallas and as Executive Director of the Strong Families Innovation Alliance, a network of leading edge churches driving new strategies for impacting the home. The author of more than a dozen books, Kurt spent twenty years with Focus on the Family where he was Vice President over media leading the team creating films, books, magazines, and radio drama such as the popular Adventures in Odyssey and Chronicles of Narnia series. Olivia is the author of
The Minivan Years. A former school teacher, she now serves with Kurt on the faculty of The Center for Strong Families.
