About the Author

Anna Francese Gass is a cookbook author, recipe developer, and host of Instant Italian with Anna Gass. She studied culinary arts at the French Culinary Institute before working in the test kitchens of Martha Stewart Living and Whole Foods. She is a regular contributor to the New York Times, Taste of Home, The Washington Post, Bon Appetit, and Food52, where she shares her ingenious takes on traditional Italian dishes with millions of home cooks.

Anna has appeared on Good Morning America, Today, Access Hollywood, and The Rachael Ray Show. She is the author of Heirloom Kitchen (2019) and Italian Snacking (2024).
