Chunling Liu

About the Author

Chunling Liu, Ph.D., is a Traditional Chinese Medicine scholar, botanist, and horticulturist. She is an instructor in the School of Horticulture at Kwantlen Polytechnic University in British Columbia, Canada, and formerly served as an Associate Professor at Guangzhou University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in China. She earned a Ph.D. in Chinese Materia Medica from Guangzhou University of Traditional Chinese Medicine and an M.Sc. in Forestry from the University of British Columbia. Combining expertise in Traditional Chinese Medicine, botany, horticultural science, and practical cultivation, Dr. Liu is dedicated to advancing the cultivation of Traditional Chinese medicinal plants in North America. Through her teaching and writing, she celebrates cultivation as both a science and an art, inspiring readers to cultivate plants with knowledge, respect, and a deeper connection with nature.
