About the Author

Misha Euceph is a Pakistani-American writer and podcaster making things that wrestle with belief and disbelief. She’s the founder and CEO of Dustlight Productions, and a Webby, Tribeca, and DuPont Award winner and the creator and host of Tell Them, I Am — an audio series about the small moments that define us, told entirely through Muslim voices. The New York Times called Tell Them, I Am “hypnotic,” the LA Times called it “quietly revolutionary,” and it landed on best-of-the-year lists everywhere from TIME to Rolling Stone.

Misha has also show-run podcasts like Mother Country Radicals, Barack Obama and Bruce Springsteen’s Renegades: Born in the USA, The Michelle Obama Podcast, video series like The Seeds with Alana Hadid, and — most recently — Mehdi Hasan’s We’re Not Kidding, which won a Signal Award. Across her podcasts, she’s racked up tens of millions of views and listens.

When she’s not podcasting, Misha runs Quran Book Club on Instagram, writes the Substack newsletter Catching the Ghost, and makes Tik-Toks about philosophy and religion that rack up hundreds of thousands of views. She’s previously written for McSweeney’s and the Wall Street Journal.

She lives in Los Angeles with her husband, daughter, and dog.
